WoW: Shadowlands will bring a long-awaited level squish. However, this also means that the current distribution of numerous skills will have to be adapted - among other things, the riding skills will be adjusted.
In World of Warcraft, players currently have five different riding skills to choose from: Inexperienced Riding, Skilled Riding, Experienced Riding, Skilled Riding, Masterful Riding. These riding skills are - with the current level distribution - 20 levels apart. The last two levels increase the speed of your flying mount by 130% and (at the last level) by 30%.
But what will that look like - thanks to the reduction in levels - in WoW: Shadowlands a?
After the introduction of the Level Squish, players will be able to learn a new riding skill every 10 levels. Now that Skilled Riding is being removed, the final jump from 150 percent to 310 percent will take place. This will save us a lot of gold at the end of the day and make it easier to reach max speed.
What happens to characters who have only learned 280 percent flying?
That is still uncertain at this point. However, as soon as the beta servers allow character transfers again, we will post that information. We'll keep you posted!
