Wowhead's dataminers have discovered two new items on the PTR of Patch 9.2, the Barbed Collar of the Incubus and the Barbed Collar of the Succubu s. It is possible that players will be able to change the appearance and gender of their Witcher companion, respectively, via these two items rather than a glyph.
You can think what you want about desexualization in WoW. Blizzard has not only removed a lot of offensive content from the game with the past patch 9.1.5, but also introduced increased equality in many places. For example, there are now significantly more male NPCs among the revelers in Karazhan, instead of mostly lightly dressed ladies.
In our interview with John Hight and Jeremy Feasel, the two developers also confirmed that this is by no means the end of the adjustments and that it will continue with WoW (buy now) 9.2. And so, in the next update, we will also get the already announced possibility of transforming the warlock's succubus into its male counterpart: the incubus.
Via glyph, which has since been found by dataminers in the files of the upcoming patch, we transform the half-naked female succubus into a half-naked male incubus. Its model has also already been found in the data.

One might ask why Blizzard doesn't take the same drastic approach at this point as it has on other occasions and simply ban nudity directly from the game? However, that would only make limited sense. Because a succubus, just like the incubus by the way, is supposed to seduce and distract the other person with its permissiveness and the female or male charms. A fully clothed incubus or succubus would thus be little purposeful and strange.
How you will get the glpyhe, by the way, is still unclear at the moment. In all likelihood, Blizzard will not make it particularly difficult for players to get them. Because that would hardly do justice to the intention of equality.
What do you think of this adaptation and do you like the male Incubus? Will you use the glyph as a warlock?11:26
