Since the end of last year, players have repeatedly reported that there is an annoying graphic flickering in the zones of WoW: Shadowlands, for example in Ardenwald, Bastion or in the Theater of Pain. Some WoW fans quickly found out that this flickering is probably caused by the Nvidia 460.xxx drivers. With older drivers the problem didn't appear, but of course you had to do without the optimizations of the new drivers, which could have a negative effect on other games and applications.
Now, more than half a year after the bug was discovered, Nvidia has finally provided a driver update that should fix this problem. The release documentation for driver 471.11 includes the following point:
[World of Warcraft: Shadowlands]: Random
may occur in certain locations in the game
And indeed, some of those affected report that the annoying graphics flickering is history with the new driver. You can get the new driver as usual via Geforce Experience or manually on the official Nvidia website.
