The Warcraft universe has won the hearts of many players thanks to the series of strategy games that came in three parts. Quite a few people were already fascinated by the history, places and characters of this world. Therefore, the opportunities that World of Warcraft gave, that we can meet these characters and visit the lands, electrified and very much.

Once, when I saw a preview of The Burning Crusade on Hyper (at the time, it was a TV show devoted to computer games on ZigZap), and the creators talked about Caverns of Time and the fact that it will be possible to take part in the events of Warcraft III, such as the Battle of Mount Hyjal, I knew that I had to play this game!

One of the places we can visit thanks to time travel is Hillsbrad Foothills, where our main task is to help free Thrall. However, the young orc chieftain is not the only famous character whose past we can see.

We can meet Kel'Thuzad walking with Helcular discussing the art of necromancy.

We met Kel'Thuzad in Warcraft III already as a necromancer obediently following the orders of the Lich King. At the time when we meet him in this instance, he is still a member of Kirin Toru. However, everyone knows his fate... Helcular is now standing by the Ruins of Southshore. He has become an undead and serves the Banshee Queen.

In the town hall, we can meet Nathanos still alive, whose name was Nathanos Marris at the time.

In classic World of Warcraft we could meet him in Eastern Plaguelands already as an undead

Nathanos at some point grew to become one of the most important and mysterious characters in the Warcraft universe. He is one of Sylvanas' most trusted men, always obsessively following her orders. He was her right hand man when she became Warlord of the Horde.

One of the first knights of the Silver Hand, or the famous order of paladins created by Alonsus Faola and Uther just after the First War, stands in a tavern and talks with his friends. Most of them later became members of the Scarlet Crusade.

Tirion, on the other hand, took part in the campaign against the Lich King in Wrath of the Lich King, and it was he who destroyed his Frost Blade with his legendary sword. Sadly, his story came to an end in the Battle of the Shattered Coast in Legion, as he was killed by Krosus on Gul'dan's orders.

At the Southshore docks we can see Nat Pagle fishing.

Nat apparently likes traveling, because in the classic World of Warcraft we can meet him in the land of Dustwallow Marsh, but then he moved to Pandaria. He enjoys fishing in the land of Krasarang Wilds.

BONUS: Pat Nagle is one of the programmers at Blizzard. This is an obvious reference.

Upstairs in the inn, Stalvan sleeps in one of the rooms.

We could meet Stalvan Mistmantle in Duskwood in the classic World of Warcraft. Unfortunately, he became undead and our task was to get rid of him.

In the Cataclysm addition, his brother appears in this land, who has become a worgen, and we must deal with him as well.

At Tarren Mill we see two children playing a girl Julie and a boy Jay.

Julie, when she grew up, became a mage and we could meet her in Southshore, but then the city was destroyed by the forces of the Abandoned and the girl probably died. Jay's fate wasn't too happy either, as he was struck by the Plague and became an undead. He currently sells mushrooms at Tarren Mill.
